My passion for ceramics stems from an obsession with food and art. Having studied at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Vancouver Film School and then spending 7 years as a chef, naturally a creative leaning transferred itself to a voracious love of clay and making pottery.

In 2009, I created Swallow Tail, a culinary company uniting creative chefs, mixologists, foragers and fishermen from around Vancouver. My time in the kitchen and working as a foraging guide inspired my nature based art style.

Swallow Tail has been featured on the Food Network with Bob Blummer, CBC with Steven Quinn, Montecristo Magazine, GQ, Itte Q (Japan), Vancouver Magazine, the Huffington Post, Conde Nast Traveller and the Globe and Mail.
